The Crísdéan range is a premium collection of Scottish craft spirits, named after co-founder Chris and built on a simple principle: better ingredients create better gin. After years working within the drinks industry, the Loose Spirits team became disillusioned with the widespread use of cheap imported base spirits, artificial flavourings, and excessive sugar in many “craft” products.
Each Crísdéan gin is carefully crafted in Scotland using natural ingredients, with a focus on purity, balance, and flavour. By minimising sugar and avoiding artificial additives, the range delivers a smooth, refined drinking experience designed for those who value authenticity, quality, and transparency in every glass.
The Rum Runner’s Collection is a premium craft rum range inspired by the little-known Scottish smugglers who supplied high-quality rum to the speakeasies of 1920s and 1930s America, helping fuel the golden age of cocktails.
Among them was Captain Bill McCoy, known as “The Real McCoy”, who rose from hardship to become one of the most legendary rum runners in history. Renowned for transporting authentic, unadulterated rum from Bimini and Nassau, McCoy built a reputation for quality while engaging in dramatic encounters with gangsters, politicians and the US Coast Guard.
Each bottle in The Rum Runner’s Collection tells the story of these daring smugglers and their ships, celebrating a forgotten chapter of rum history.
